Netball has taken off at SMS…….. even during Covid lockdown and its rules we kept going. During 2020 and 2021 we put the focus on developing netball skills. Our young and vibrant coaches attended netball courses and worked tirelessly with our future Protea stars.

In 2022 started playing competitive netball again. We have 2 teams in each group from Grade 1 all the way to Grade 7. Our U/13A team took part in the ITEC Tournament as well as the All Girls Festival in East London. They did exceptionally well. Our other grades are also very busy, taking part in league games and netball festivals. Our grade 1 – 3 girls are playing in mini-netball festivals where they keep the St Michael’s flag flying high!
